Job summary

BW Design Group, part of Barry-Wehmiller, seeks an Electrical Engineer, PE to lead electrical design for large-scale manufacturing facilities. You will design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, applying NEC standards and working with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with clients to align designs with objectives, and use tools like Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD to model and simulate complex systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical engineering design experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of the NEC and compliance in designs.
• Experience with low/medium voltage systems and lighting design.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design: develop electrical designs for complex manufacturing facilities, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience in power distribution, load flow analysis, low voltage, (medium voltage a plus), and lighting design.
