Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an Electrical Engineer with PE to oversee electrical designs and serve as Engineer of Record for commercial projects. This full-time, direct-hire role is onsite across multiple locations including Orlando, Birmingham, Salt Lake City, and Dallas.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, a Bachelor's in Engineering, 4+ years of MEP design experience, and proficiency in Revit with NEC knowledge. Will coordinate with project teams and visit sites as needed.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.

• Strong knowledge of the NEC.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops, and evaluates electrical systems.
• Designs and drafts engineering plans and drawings using Revit.
• Improves and maintains existing systems and develops solutions for new projects.
• Performs engineering calculations and technical analyses to support project design.
• Visits project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support project implementation.
• Manages assigned projects and coordinates with integrated project teams.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of MEP design experience for commercial electrical systems.
• Design experience supporting commercial MEP infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience designing and drafting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
