Job summary

Cindavi in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to own a critical portion of our powered equipment portfolio. You will design PCBA layouts, write firmware, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems to ensure reliability in life-saving transport solutions.

You’ll collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D on shop-floor issues and design optimizations, applying strong C/C++ skills and Altium experience to real-world challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years hands-on electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or physical product environment.
• Proven PCBA design with Altium Designer.
• Strong C/C++ embedded software development and debugging.
• Experience with DC motor controls and lithium battery technologies.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine PCBs from schematics to production release.
• Write, test, and troubleshoot embedded firmware in C/C++ for powered systems.
• Address DC motor control and lithium battery related challenges.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to resolve issues and improve designs.
• Guide technical improvements based on field feedback and real-world usage.
