Job summary

Science Corporation is seeking outstanding electrical engineers to design, test, and maintain electronics for cutting edge medical devices. You will work with biology, micro-fabrication, optics and software—clear communication and a proactive approach to understanding how electronics choices affect other domains are essential.

Responsibilities include PCB-level design, transferring R&D to scalable manufacturing, testing and failure analysis, and documenting design and test work.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic system design using microcontrollers, microprocessors or FPGAs.
• Skilled in PCB design using Altium or OrCAD.
• Strong understanding of power management in robotics systems.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO).
• Low noise analog sensor interface design experience.
• Proficient with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
• Strong circuit analysis and simulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and characterize electrical systems, generally at the PCB level, for advanced medical device applications
• Oversee the transfer of R&D projects to scalable manufacturing solutions
• Test, qualification, and failure-mode analysis on electrical systems, especially PCB-As
• Feasibility investigation and prototype of new concepts
• Clear documentation and communication of design and test work
• Interface and communication with cross-disciplinary teams including biology, software, and QA/RA
