Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and integrate medium-voltage power distribution systems for modular solutions serving data centers and critical industries. You will lead system architecture, equipment specification, protection strategies, and compliance with UL, IEEE, and NFPA standards.

The role requires coordinating with switchgear, transformers, protection systems, UPS, batteries, and grounding to deliver safe, manufacturable modular E-House and skid-based

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial or mission-critical power distribution design.
• Experience with MV equipment (5kV-35kV) including switchgear and relaying.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, IEEE C37 series, IEEE 1584, and UL switchgear standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop MV/LV power system architectures for modular systems.
• Size and specify major equipment per standards.
• Define grounding strategies per NEC/IEEE; coordinate transfer switch and UPS systems.
• Produce electrical drawings and BOMs; support procurement and manufacturing.
