Job summary

GTI Fabrication seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for modular infrastructure projects, including BESS, GenSets, modular data centers, and industrial skids. You will develop schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring docs, and production-ready designs, with up to 10% travel.

The role collaborates across mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant electrical solutions from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience developing electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
• Experience with electrical CAD software such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems supporting modular infrastructure and industrial equipment.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Support integration of switchgear, transformers, generators, batteries, UPS systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical engineering, controls, manufacturing, and project teams.
