Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer (MEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects including commercial and healthcare facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of MEP systems and the ability to collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project success. In this role you will be responsible for growing and leading a team of Electrical Engineers focusing on the design and delivery of projects for Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Government facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for MEP projects including lighting, low voltage distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including NEC and UL.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or Engineer in Training (EIT) status close to PE.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the MEP sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience in project engineering and management in commercial and healthcare sectors.
