Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits for medical device systems and subsystems.
  • Support concept generation and technical brainstorming to address complex design challenges and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Develop embedded electronics and hardware architectures including microcontrollers, sensors, power systems, and communications interfaces.
  • Perform schematic capture and PCB design/layout using tools such as Altium or similar ECAD platforms.
  • Build, prototype, and evaluate electronic hardware assemblies in laboratory environments.
  • Perform hands‑on circuit board assembly, soldering, and rework including surface‑mount and through‑hole components.
  • Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and prototype electrical subsystems for test and development.
  • Conduct hardware bring‑up, electrical testing, debugging, and fault isolation using laboratory instrumentation.
  • Apply engineering analysis techniques including SPICE simulation, tolerance analysis, signal integrity evaluation, and experimental design.
  • Support development of system architecture, technical requirements, and subsystem specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical engineers, firmware/software developers, systems engineers, and quality specialists.
  • Generate and maintain engineering documentation, verification reports, and test protocols.
  • Support compliance with ISO 13485 quality management systems and design control requirements.
