Qualifications

• 3–5 years in related medical device engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Orcad Capture experience preferred.
• IEC 60601 familiarity preferred.
• Ability to travel ~10% (domestic/international).

Responsibilities

• Resolve electronic device design issues and field/test failures.
• Initiate circuit design changes for obsolescence and sourcing.
• Assess impact of changes on form, fit, function, performance, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, optical teams for product improvements.
• Provide subject matter expert support for quality, manufacturability, reliability evaluations.
• Perform root-cause analyses using electrical schematics and test data.
• Develop and maintain electrical test equipment and processes.
• Create engineering documentation including ECOs.
• Coordinate with safety agencies for component approvals.
