Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, document, and implement electrical systems for new marine products in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance with USCG/ABYC/CE, cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, production and quality teams, and the preparation of detailed BOMs while training technicians.

You will troubleshoot, test processes, and communicate complex technical information to diverse education levels.

Qualifications

  • Designs, documents and implements electrical systems for all new products.
  • Ability to ensure compliance of electrical systems with USCG, ABYC, CE and other regulatory agencies.
  • Interfaces between engines, system monitor systems and boat systems for integration.
  • Trains and supervises technicians to assist in project implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, documents and implements electrical systems for all new products.
  • Ensures compliance of all electrical systems (new and existing) with all USCG, ABYC, CE and other regulatory agencies.
  • Interfaces between engines and system monitor systems for integration.
  • Inspects and observes models to evaluate efficiency and quality of electrical systems, components, and products.
  • Researches and tests manufacturing and assembly processes; develops innovative processes to improve production methods.
  • Provides detailed BOMs for electrical assemblies and component parts.
  • Trains and supervises technicians to assist in project implementation.
  • Communicates engineering information across teams and departments to facilitate successful completion of projects.
