Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company in the United States. This hands-on role focuses on high-voltage electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, breakers and relays, with relocation assistance available.

You will design, estimate, install and troubleshoot these systems to ensure smooth, efficient operations in our metal manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment as an Electrical Engineer.
• Experience with high voltage systems, estimating costs, design and installation.
• Proficient in CAD for drafting and revisions.
• Strong problem solving and collaborative communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply electrical theory and materials knowledge in the design process.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Research and specify design parameters for products and applications.
• Use CAD to draft and revise technical drawings and specs.
• Estimate material and labor costs for budgets.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical control systems.
• Maintain and improve electrical instruments and systems.
• Inspect installations for conformance to standards and safety requirements.
• Study technical drawings and maps to ensure installation compliance.
