Job summary

Jobot, a well-established, US-based metals manufacturer, is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join the team. The role focuses on high‑voltage electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and relays, with relocation available and a comprehensive benefits package.

The candidate will design, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with project managers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with electronic troubleshooting and electrical system design.
• Proficiency in working with high voltage systems, estimating costs, design, and installation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply knowledge of electricity and materials in the design process.
• Collaborate with project managers on production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct research to produce design specifications and parameters for various products and applications.
• Utilize CAD software to draft and revise technical drawings and specifications.
• Estimate material, labor, and construction costs for budget preparation.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical control systems.
• Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and study technical drawings and topographical maps to ensure installations meet standards and customer requirements.
