Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for an on-site contract role in Georgetown, KY. The position focuses on supporting capital equipment, facility, and manufacturing projects in a large-scale production environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, the ability to manage multiple projects, and proven experience in NEC/OSHA compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop project scope of work documents, bid packages, and technical specifications.
• Review technical drawings and engineering documentation, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Evaluate electrical power systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure electrical systems and equipment comply with local, state, and electrical and safety codes.
• Partner with third‑party safety compliance contractors to support project requirements.
• Evaluate power distribution systems, breaker sizing, amp draw, SCCR ratings, panel loading, and related electrical calculations.
• Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, skilled trades, equipment manufacturers, and affiliate companies to meet project objectives.
• Supervise contractors in both greenfield and brownfield project environments.
• Coordinate equipment installation and startup activities.
• Track project progress and develop countermeasures to mitigate delays and maintain schedules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems, equipment reliability, and facility infrastructure
