Black & Veatch is seeking an entry-level Graduate Engineer, Electrical – LNG in Houston to contribute to a range of projects within the Fuels & Natural Resources department. You will work under supervision to address infrastructure challenges, learn departmental design guides, and prepare basic engineering deliverables.

You will develop knowledge in power systems, motors, transformers, renewable energy, and power delivery while collaborating with project teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Internship experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and Black and Veatch policies and procedures.
• Develops an understanding and complies with the Black and Veatch quality program; supports continuous improvement and change management efforts.
• Contributes to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope; performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment/material selection; collects, assimilates, and manages data; prepares basic engineering calculations; adheres to budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Shares information with others and coordinates with project leadership as directed.
• Focuses on client needs and may support business development or pursuit activities.
• Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes.
