Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is representing a MEP consulting engineering firm seeking electrical engineers with 4+ years of lighting and power design experience in Virginia Beach.

Responsibilities include producing construction documents and follow-on construction services, performing field surveys, and preparing code analyses, calculations, equipment selections and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is required, with AGI32/SKM/Easypower experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Architectural Engineering (Electrical / Lighting focus).
• 4 to 7 years’ experience in lighting and power design.
• Experience with AGI32, SKM and/or Easypower a plus
• Experience in production of construction documents and follow-on construction services. Position includes performing field surveys, and preparing code analyses, calculations, equipment selections, and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct day-long field surveys outdoors and indoors in conditioned and unconditioned spaces, including walking up to 10-20k steps in a day, climbing up and down a 6-foot ladder, kneeling, squatting, and bending.

• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure design intent.
