Job description

We seek a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) with expertise in designing and managing electrical systems for MEP projects. This role will lead electrical design, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, using AutoCAD and Revit for commercial and institutional projects.

Perform load calculations, short-circuit analyses, and equipment sizing to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Prepare and review construction documents, ensuring compliance with NEC, IBC, and local codes.

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors during design and construction phases.

Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide technical support during project execution.

Mentor junior engineers and oversee quality control for electrical deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

5+ years of experience in electrical design for MEP projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
