Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Level 2 to join the Vehicle Engineering Directorate in Redondo Beach, CA. You will support electrical engineering for Design Integration, Cable & Harness, and/or Solar Array.

This position is onsite in Redondo Beach, CA. Job responsibilities include developing electrical system requirements, generating diagrams, managing power and telemetry hardware, and producing electrical design drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in STEM.
• Must have active SCI access or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting of components and equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.

• System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation.

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Level 2 to join the Vehicle Engineering Directorate within Western Region Engineering. In this role, you will support electrical engineering for Design Integration, Cable & Harness, and/or Solar Array. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Electrical systems requirements development & analysis
• System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation
• Power and command & telemetry hardware resource management and allocation
• Electrical Connectivity development for spacecraft harness design
• Fusing, signal integrity, and electrical interface compatibility analysis
• Cable & Harness Design
• Produce photovoltaic array electrical design related engineering drawings and specifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree in STEM
• Must have active SCI access at the time of application or an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company, prior to the start date
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting of components and equipment
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated multidisciplinary skillset with the ability to work with manufacturing and other engineering disciplines
• Experience with software tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Mentor Graphics, Routed Systems Design (RSD), HarneSys, CATIA V5, NX, Siemens Capital, Microsoft Access, Visio

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

• Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
