Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Integration and Test team for launch vehicles. This on-site role involves hands-on testing, developing test procedures, and implementing design changes to flight hardware and software.

Ideal candidates will hold a BS (or MS) in Electrical Engineering, be able to obtain a U.S. government clearance, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead small projects or teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electrical testing at a systems level.
• Develop and maintain procedures for the assembly and test of launch vehicle systems.
• Incorporate hardware and/or software design changes.
• Document and disposition hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actions.
• Some planning and scheduling of day-to-day tasks.
• Constant and timely communication with other team members.
