KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Electrical Engineer, Journeyman, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position is onsite in Newport, Rhode Island.

This position will design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilities.

Primary Duties:

• Design new products, write performance requirements, and develop maintenance schedules.
• Test equipment, solve operating problems, and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant professional experience

Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation:

While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $125,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
