Job summary

Textron Systems seeks an Electrical Engineer IV to perform advanced mixed-signal electronics design, focusing on power supplies and high-density PCBs. The candidate will simulate, analyze, and validate circuits, leveraging Allegro CIS and LTSPICE, and support PCB/PWA layout and testing.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 9 years of relevant experience; an MS is a plus, and eligibility for security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 9 years of relevant experience in mixed signal electronics design.
• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering required; MS degree a plus.
• Power supply design experience.
• Experience with designing high density printed circuit boards.
• Familiar with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE.
• Performed simulations and analysis including Worst-Case Circuit Analysis.
• Familiarity with derating guidelines and component models.
• Capable of basic modification of component models.
• Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging.
• Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout.
• Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses.
• Active security clearance preferred; eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Power Supply design experience.
• Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
• Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE.
• Performed simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst-Case Circuit Analysis).
• Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses.
• Capable of basic modification of component models.
• Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE.
• Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging.
• Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout.
• Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses.
• Active security clearance is preferred, eligibility for clearance is required.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is

$146,500 - $224,500 per year.
