Job summary

Textron Systems seeks an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplined design team developing analog designs for military hardware. You will transition designs into qualified hardware, using OrCAD, PSPICE, LTSpice and related tools.

The role emphasizes mixed-signal electronics, power supply design, high-density PCBs, and collaboration across disciplines on emerging programs for defense applications. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design.
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Power Supply design experience.
  • Experience with high-density printed circuit boards.
  • Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE.
  • Performed simulation & analysis of circuits under worst-case conditions.
  • Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses.
  • Capable of modifying component models.
  • Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE.
  • Familiarity with lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with PCB and PWA layout and digital data buses.
  • Active security clearance; eligibility for SAP clearance.

About This Role

Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.

  • Capable of basic modification of component models.
  • Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE
  • Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging
  • Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout
  • Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses
  • Active security clearance required; eligibility for SAP clearance is required.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $115,800 - $176,200 per year.
