Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks an on-site Electrical Engineer to join our client's R&D Hardware Design team in Minnesota. The role focuses on leading implantable product development projects through the DVT phase and into production, with emphasis on test planning, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership.

The candidate should have a strong electrical engineering background, experience in design verification testing, and proven ability to guide teams toward design approval and production

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience; MS with 3+ years acceptable.
• Experience leading product development in the DVT phase.
• Experience with yield improvement and data analysis.
• Strong planning, testing, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan DVT testing with SMEs and develop test protocols.
• Perform bench testing with standard EE lab equipment.
• Coordinate and track test investigations and analyze data.
• Lead failure analysis activities to drive design closure.
• Ensure quality systems compliance across work output.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our client's team, leading active implantable product development projects as part of the R&D Hardware Design team.

Scope:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our client's team, leading active implantable product development projects as part of the R&D Hardware Design team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience leading technical projects through the design verification testing (DVT) phase and the ramp into production volumes.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning DVT testing with various SMEs, test protocol development, performing bench testing with standard EE lab equipment, coordinating and tracking test investigations, reviewing and summarizing electrical test data and leading failure analysis activities.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering!

5+ years with BS; 3+ with MS

• Product development experience specifically within the electrical DVT phase
• Yield improvement experience
• Data analysis experience in platforms such as Mini Tab, JMP, or Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record of leading and closing projects involving cross-functional team.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software, excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with and guide a team of engineers are crucial for success in this role.
