Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is offering an internship for Electrical Engineers in Summer 2026. The intern will support the design and development of automation and production equipment. Responsibilities include safety compliance, assisting electricians, and working on electrical schematics. Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Electrical related field.
  • Minimum of 1 completed year in related field preferred.
  • Be considered a full-time student (12 credits or more).

  • Understand and follow instructions and possess problem solving.
  • Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule and work without supervision.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Schematics, Robotic Troubleshooting/Programming, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Proportional Control, PLC design and programming, Vision System 2D/3D.

Responsibilities

  • Complete safety training and comply with departmental safety policies.
  • Learn and assist electricians in making electrical adjustments.
  • Support electrical staff with wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Learn/assist electricians to make electrical adjustments to machinery and software to ensure efficient operations.
  • Work with electrical staff to support conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repair, panel building and other duties as assigned.

ROLE

Electrical engineering intern supports the development, design of automation, material handling, and production equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Successfully complete safety training, and demonstrate ability to comply with departmental safety policy and guidelines
  • Participate in WF’s 6-S Program (housekeeping)
  • Learn companyprocess control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)
  • Learn/assist electricians to makeelectrical adjustments to machinery and software to ensure efficient operations
  • Work with electrical staff to support conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repair, panel building and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor'sdegree inElectrical related field
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule

  • Be enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Minimum of 1 completed year in related field (preferred).
