ROLE

The HR Intern will play a vital role in documenting HR processes and supporting talent acquisition efforts across our manufacturing sites. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic industrial environment and exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Process Documentation
  • Observe and document HR workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and compliance procedures
  • Assist in creating and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for HR-related activities
  • Collaborate with HR team members to identify process improvements and standardization opportunities across plants
Talent Acquisition Support
  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
  • Participate in candidate outreach and engagement efforts, including career fairs and campus events
  • Help maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure data accuracy
  • Support onboarding activities and new hire orientation logistics
General HR Support
  • Contribute to HR reporting and metrics tracking
  • Assist with employee file audits and compliance checks
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretionInterest in manufacturing environments and workforce development
  • Be enrolled in post‑high school education for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Minimum of 1 completed year in related field (preferred).
  • Be considered a full time student (12 credits or more).
  • Be 18 years or older.
