Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support electrical control and power system effectiveness, daily operations, and sustainability initiatives at our production site. You will learn and contribute under senior engineers while developing practical skills.

This 10–12 week internship is paid, with hands-on experience in process safety, maintenance planning, and engineering documentation, guided by a dedicated mentor and internship coordinator.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Good teamwork and communication are important.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
• Complete equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis techniques.
• Work closely with Maintenance Planners to ensure preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Assist the management of the plant's engineering documentation.
• Assist in the development of ideas to improve plant production equipment health and performance.
• Organize, update, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and analytical equipment maintenance PM and repair documentation.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will assist with the electrical control and power system effectiveness, daily operations, and sustainability initiatives. Other duties will include:

• Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)

About your internship

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks

Pay: $24.00 an hour
