The 10–12 week program pays $24.00 per hour and offers exposure to real engineering challenges in a dynamic production environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will gain manufacturing experience through working with Engineers, Operations, and Management while completing determined projects and applying education. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. You will be responsible for working with the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates. Other duties will include:

• Demonstrateand/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
• Liveand foster the IPL Corporate Value, andParticipate in BEx initiatives and activities
• Workwith the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates
• Spendtime understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer
• Collaboratewith Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks
• Involvement with researching and design of projects
• Present findings/results on projectsfrom internship at the end of theprogram
