What You’ll Do

As aMechanicalEngineering Intern, you will gain manufacturing experience through working with Engineers, Operations, and Management while completing determined projects and applying education.You will be part of a dynamic team who ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.You will be responsible for workingwith the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates.Other duties will include:

• Demonstrateand/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
• Liveand foster the IPL Corporate Value, andParticipate in BEx initiatives and activities
• Workwith the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates
• Spendtime understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer
• Collaboratewith Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks
• Involvement with researching and design of projects
• Present findings/results on projectsfrom internship at the end of theprogram

Duration: 12 weeks

Pay: $24 an hour
