Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and standards.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

• Utilize electrical design tools to create schematics, PCB layouts and drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to meet specs and standards.
• Prepare technical drawings and specs for electrical systems.
• Assist System Architects in researching and designing to meet customer requirements.
• Provide electrical troubleshooting support for product testing and manufacturing.
• Investigate failures and recommend remedial actions.
• Design and improve electrical equipment and systems for various applications.
• Develop electrical models to assess feasibility and performance.
• Coordinate electrical manufacturing and testing activities.
• Specify components or modify products to meet design and regulatory standards.
• Compile data and write reports on electrical studies or projects.
• Design electrical test equipment and procedures.
• Perform electrical calculations to establish manufacturing standards.
• Evaluate customer proposals to assess feasibility and cost.
• Assess energy performance and environmental impact of designs.
• Plan research methods applying electrical theory to projects.
• Design systems that minimize energy requirements.
• Write electrical performance requirements for development projects.
• Provide technical assistance for pilot line builds and tests.
