Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Minnesota is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience designing and testing electrical hardware used in industrial products. You will work under mentorship from experienced engineers and report to the Engineering Manager in Mequon, WI or Eden Prairie, MN.

Responsibilities include PCB schematic design, component validation, testing per plans, and documentation of issues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and validation of alternate electronic components to achieve cost reduction or address component obsolescence.
• Design PCB schematic and support PCB layout.
• Support hardware testing and validation in accordance with established test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
• Assist with failure analysis and documentation, contributing to root cause investigations and corrective action processes.
