Job summary

Invariant Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist our team in a hands-on laboratory environment, working on microelectronics system design and analysis.

You will perform electronic design, build, and test tasks, interface with FPGA boards, and create training materials. Requires ABET-accredited EE degree and at least 1 year of experience, plus the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Works well in a small, fast-paced, mission-driven environment and communicates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electronic design, build, and test tasks under senior engineers in a dynamic lab.
• Program and interface with FPGA development boards.
• Design and create training materials using PowerPoint, multimedia, videos, and animations.
• Produce high-quality training presentations for internal use.
• Support computer and network setup and configuration in the lab or classroom.
• Collaborate with team members on complex or special projects.
