Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to contribute to the design of electrical systems for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional facilities in Baltimore, MD.

Under direct supervision, you will create drawings, reports, and calculations while aligning with project constraints, schedules, and quality requirements. US citizenship is required and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Strong communication skills demonstrated orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Capacity to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creation of drawings, reports, and calculations per engineering guidance, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design team members (architects and engineers) to deliver coordinated electrical designs.
