Job summary

Intellectt Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong Control & Instrumentation (C&I) experience to support industrial/process plants. The role requires hands-on engineering and design work, not just drafting.

Responsibilities include designing electrical, control and instrumentation packages, selecting instrumentation and control hardware, and supporting installation, commissioning and startup activities. Collaboration with customers, vendors, and offshore teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design experience for industrial/process plants.
• Experience with instrumentation selection and control hardware.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, MCCs, VFDs and LV systems is preferred.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong Control & Instrumentation (C&I) experience to support industrial/process plants. Candidates must have hands-on engineering and design experience, not just Electrical Designer/drafting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering design packages for industrial/process plants.
• Design and support electrical power systems, controls, instrumentation, installation, and commissioning.
• Specify and select process plant instrumentation and control hardware.
• Perform instrumentation setup, calibration, verification, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Develop/review engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, construction teams, and offshore engineering teams.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support process/equipment modifications, upgrades, and production improvements.

Required Skills:

• Electrical Engineering background with strong Control & Instrumentation experience.
• Experience as an Instrumentation & Control Design Engineer in industrial/process plants.
• Proven experience developing engineering design packages and performing actual engineering/design activities.
• Experience with process instrumentation selection and specification.
• Experience designing/selecting controls and hardware for process instrumentation.
• Hands-on instrumentation calibration, verification, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with electrical power systems, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, MCCs, VFDs, LV electrical systems, and industrial controls is preferred.
