Lead Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems for industrial process facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and contributing to well‑integrated, practical designs from concept through commissioning.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and specification of instrumentation and electrical systems for process facilities and packaged equipment
• Develop and review key design deliverables such as instrument lists, datasheets, wiring and loop documentation
• Support controls and automation efforts, including PLC‑based systems and industrial communication networks
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, and design teams to ensure fully integrated solutions
• Participate in design reviews, vendor coordination, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure designs align with applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal engineering standards and workflows

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of experience in instrumentation and electrical engineering within industrial or process environments
• Strong background in instrument selection, electrical design, and controls integration
• Familiarity with PLC platforms and industrial networking concepts
