Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects, LLC in Saint Louis is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead independent design assurance reviews for utility-scale projects and oversee major electrical systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience on large capital projects in power generation or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, grounding, protection and control, DC/UPS, cables, raceways, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent design assurance reviews of electrical deliverables for utility-scale projects.
• Review one-line and three-line diagrams, specs, load lists, cable schedules, grounding, protection schemes, relay settings, studies and vendor drawings.
• Provide technical oversight of plant electrical systems and interfaces (generators, bus, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, DC systems, UPS, grounding).
• Evaluate interfaces among gas/steam turbines, OEM packages, plant auxiliary systems, and DCS/I&C systems.
• Review design margins, capacity, redundancy, and safety aspects to align with performance goals.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to resolve interface issues and document findings.
