Job summary

Industrial Magnetics seeks an electrical engineer to help bring new products to market and support existing systems with safe, reliable control solutions for lifting, holding, and demagnetizing magnetics.

The role covers design of electrical and pneumatic control schemes, generation of schematics and BOMs, and collaboration with Sales to specify solutions—plus testing, documentation, and coordinating inspections. On-site work with global partners is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical and pneumatic control schemes for magnet systems (electromagnetic and permanent).
• Ability to support Sales with technical specifications for customer applications.
• Proficiency in creating electrical schematics, BOMs, and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and pneumatic control schemes for lifting, holding, and magnet systems.
• Provide technical support to Sales and regional managers for correct control solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and field service via phone, email, and on-site visits.
• Create PLC logic using Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms.
• Generate electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and customer drawings.
