Job summary

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. in Plainville, Connecticut is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Facility Solutions Division to design systems for industrial, educational, and commercial facilities.

You will perform calculations, produce AutoCAD/Revit drawings, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. We offer ESOP ownership and a strong, team‑oriented culture with opportunities for career growth and hands‑on learning in a multi‑discipline consultancy

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
2-5 years of related experience.
US person eligible for aerospace/defense work.
Experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, BlueBeam and Procore.
EIT certification is a plus.
Experience in industrial/manufacturing settings a plus.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for industrial, educational and commercial facilities including power distribution, lighting, controls, and security.
Perform engineering calculations such as load calculations, photometrics and generator sizing.
Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit with CAD support.
Conduct energy audits for industrial and manufacturing clients to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with other Facility Solutions teams including mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, energy, and EH&S.
