Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Facility Solutions Division in Plainville, CT.
The role involves designing electrical systems for industrial, educational, and commercial facilities, with a focus on power distribution, lighting, and security, while collaborating across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years of experience, proficiency in REVIT/AutoCAD/BlueBeam/Procore, and the option of EIT
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- US person eligible to work with aerospace/defense export restrictions.
- Experience with REVIT, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Procore preferred.
- EIT certification is a plus.
- Industrial/manufacturing experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for industrial, educational and commercial facilities, including power distribution, lighting, controls, communications, fire alarm, and security.
- Perform engineering calculations such as electrical load, photometrics, and generator sizing.
- Prepare engineering drawings in AutoCAD and Revit with CAD support.
- Conduct energy audits for industrial and manufacturing clients to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with other Facility Solutions Division areas (mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, energy).
