Job summary

Sealed Air in Duncan, SC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain electrical systems for manufacturing and facilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves creating schematics, troubleshooting issues, supporting installation and startup, and coordinating with maintenance, operations, and vendors to drive reliability and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors, drives, PLCs, and power distribution.
• Experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and applicable industry standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, controls, and equipment.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, project engineers, and vendors.
• Manage electrical projects including budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
• Evaluate and improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
