Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or College Technology Diploma with hands-on electrical design experience.
Expertise in electrical control systems design, including low-voltage (480 VAC) power systems and PLC control.
Familiarity with NEC and CEC electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Innovative System Design: Develop electrical system designs including power distribution (24 VDC, 120 VAC, 480 VAC) and motor control systems.
High-Impact Projects: Lead design of motor control panels (MCP) and power systems.
Collaborative Engineering: Work with interdisciplinary teams to create specifications and field installation drawings.
Documentation Excellence: Prepare detailed documentation including RFIs and as-built drawings.
Hands-On Design & Support: Provide technical support to installation contractors and ensure delivery to spec and code.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with electrical design trends and best practices.
