Job summary

Brock Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Industrial Automation & Design) to join our Irving, TX team. You will design and implement electrical systems for automated control environments, collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust power distribution and motor control solutions.

Responsibilities include developing MCPs, power systems, and wiring diagrams, plus supporting field installations and compliance with NEC/CEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or College Technology Diploma with hands-on electrical design experience.
• Expertise in electrical control systems design, including low-voltage power and PLC control systems.
• Familiarity with NEC/CEC electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical system designs including power distribution (24 VDC, 120 VAC, 480 VAC) and motor control systems.
• Lead the design of MCPs, power systems, and single-line drawings for automated systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create specifications and field install drawings.
• Prepare accurate documentation such as catalog cuts, phasing plans, and as-built drawings.
• Provide technical support to installation contractors and ensure NEC/CEC compliance.
