Job summary

MSKTD & ASSOCIATES in Indianapolis seeks a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-discipline design team. You will design normal and emergency power distribution, low voltage systems, and coordinate with architects and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering License (PE) and a minimum of four years of experience in electrical engineering
• Working Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is important
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are a must
• Experience with other electrical design software such as Visual Lighting, AGI32, and SKM Power Tools or RCDD certification by BICSI are desirable

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of normal and emergency power distribution systems (medium and low voltage)
• Design and specification of low voltage communications systems (data, alarm, security, a/v) and fire alarm systems
• Create and maintain customer relationships and collaborate with architects and other engineers
• Participate in projects through construction and travel as needed

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will work with variety of project types (higher education, health care, civic, advanced manufacturing), create and maintain customer relationships, participate in projects through construction, and occasionally travel.

Typical responsibilities include design and specification of:

• low voltage communications systems (e.g. data, alarm, security, a/v), and fire alarm systems
