Lam Research in Tualatin, OR is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 to join the Global Products Group. You will design and develop advanced electrical systems and drive tests for cutting-edge semiconductor wet deposition tools.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and create functional specifications. This role requires strong PCB and power distribution expertise and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital).
• Solid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution.
• In-depth system level understanding of electrical architecture and integration.
• Excellent PCB and low voltage circuit design for power and control.
• Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and/or solutions, applying engineering methods to design.
• Contributes to R&D by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical design.
• Develops functional specifications for electrical/electro‑mechanical systems and power distribution components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering design teams to design and modify components.
• Perform hands‑on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterize performance.
• Prepare high‑quality reports and technical presentations communicating design intent and results.
• Acts as a resource and mentor for junior colleagues.
