Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, OR is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 to join the Global Products Group. You will design and develop advanced electrical systems and drive tests for cutting-edge semiconductor wet deposition tools.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and create functional specifications. This role requires strong PCB and power distribution expertise and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital).
Solid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution.
In-depth system level understanding of electrical architecture and integration.
Excellent PCB and low voltage circuit design for power and control.
Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation.

Responsibilities

Design and develop complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and/or solutions, applying engineering methods to design.
Contributes to R&D by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical design.
Develops functional specifications for electrical/electro‑mechanical systems and power distribution components.
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering design teams to design and modify components.
Perform hands‑on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterize performance.
Prepare high‑quality reports and technical presentations communicating design intent and results.
Acts as a resource and mentor for junior colleagues.
