KFI Engineers seeks an Electrical Engineer III to lead electrical design efforts for industrial, process, and infra projects. You will deliver high-quality engineering work, coordinate with multiple teams, and assist in business development by preparing proposals and meeting clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and potential PE certification. Travel up to 25% may be required; salary is competitive with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE certification or willingness to pursue it.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with electrical design for building projects and multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of power distribution, motor feeders, and motor starters/drives.
• Design building general power, HVAC and lighting systems, including emergency backup systems.
• Evaluate existing distribution systems and plan expansions.
• Perform voltage drop and short-circuit calculations; arc fault analysis.
• Prepare engineering documents and specs; coordinate with other teams and contractors.
• Support business development through proposals and client meetings.
