Olsten is hiring an Electrical Engineer III in Florence, SC to design hardware and embedded software for control systems. The role focuses on power electronics, HMIs, and electromechanical components, with hands-on responsibilities and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

Strong experience in embedded hardware, software, and firmware design.
Knowledge of analog/digital design and power electronics.

Responsibilities

Design and develop hardware and software for control systems, including HMI devices and power electronics.
Create and maintain testing processes, including lab testing and performance evaluations.
Prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot failures.
Collaborate with repair teams to improve quality and reliability.
Support supply chain, including sourcing and parts availability.
Develop upgrades for obsolete components and maintain spare parts info.
