Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer III for a 12+ months contract in Bloomfield, CT. The role involves hardware and software development for elevator control systems, testing processes, and supporting parts management.

The ideal candidate should have a BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering and experience in embedded systems, electrical design, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Embedded Hardware, Software, and Firmware design.
• Strong knowledge in electrical engineering principles.
• Direct PCBA design experience.
• Fluency with electrical engineering CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware and software for elevator control systems.
• Maintain testing processes for electrical hardware performance.
• Lead investigations of component failures.
• Support parts availability and drive cost-saving activities.
• Develop replacement solutions for obsolete components.
• Create and update spare parts information.
