Job summary

Ralliant is seeking an Electrical Engineer III in Hollister, CA to join the Engineering team. You will collaborate with Planning, Quality, Manufacturing and Program Management to resolve hardware production issues, perform analog and digital circuit analysis, and support test equipment development.

Applicants should have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 10–15 years in production-related roles and experience in aerospace/defense is a plus; Cadence tools experience (OrCAD, PCB Editor, PSpice)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree a plus.
• 10–15 years of experience in a production-related role; aerospace/defense experience a plus.
• Experience with Cadence design suites (OrCAD, PCB Editor, PSpice) or equivalent tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and technical-reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Manufacturing and Program Manager to resolve hardware production issues.
• Provide analog and digital circuit analysis using Cadence tools.
• Perform failure investigations and hands-on troubleshooting with rigorous root cause analysis.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to production and development activities.
• Deliver technical failure analysis reports and presentations to customers.
• Support development, testing of test equipment and manufacturing tooling.
• Assist with documentation, engineering analyses, drawings, and design reviews.
• Contribute to cost-reduction through engineering analysis and design improvements.
• Support IRAD activities and provide engineering leadership on design tasks.
• Assist with Kaizen initiatives for process and test improvements.
