Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our multidisciplinary design team developing analog/mixed-signal hardware for military programs. You will design, simulate and transition circuits into qualified hardware, applying OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice, and work with high-density PCBs.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in engineering and 5+ years in mixed-signal electronics, power supply design, and lab instrumentation, with eligibility for SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

About This Role

Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing mixed signal electronic designs
• Working in a collaborative and cross-functional discipline environment
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design
• Bachelor of Science
• Power Supply design experience
• Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
• Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE
• Performed simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst-Case Circuit Analysis)
• Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses
• Capable of basic modification of component models.
• Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE
• Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging
• Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout
• Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses
• Active security clearance required; eligibility for SAP clearance is required.
