The role requires a BS in EE with 6+ years of experience, advanced proficiency, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Hybrid work in Miamisburg is available, with travel as needed and opportunities to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related role (advanced degree may substitute).
  • Advanced proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with CAE tools.
  • Progressive experience in multidisciplinary design/development teams.
  • Exposure to EWIS, FMEA, and SSA concepts.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Job Summary

Electrical Engineer III – responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense projects, with emphasis on complex circuits, testing, and integration.

  • Implement electrical wiring design practices and oversee the testing and validation of systems and components.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including designs, test plans, and results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with CAD software for electrical applications.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards and practices.
  • Experience with functional and logical system models, simulations, and analysis.
  • Experience composing an Electrical Load Analysis (ELA).
  • Experience with circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry‑standard electrical design principles, including model‑based definition, component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with EMC, EMI, HIRF, and IEL considerations.
  • Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture.
  • Understanding of printed circuit board layout processes and tools.
