Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for golf cars, utility vehicles and more. You will create drawings, documentation, and participate in DFMEA and DFA/DFM assessments while collaborating with suppliers.

A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience are required. Proficiency with MS Office is expected; experience with CANbus, NX CAD, Siemens Capital and SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience is required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is expected; CANbus protocol/tools, Siemens Capital, NX and SAP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including motors, ECUs, switches, relays, wire harnesses, displays, and lighting.
• Develop component and assembly level engineering drawings.
• Assist in design and documentation of vehicle electrical architecture and service manuals/part books.
• Review supplier designs for quality and cost; identify cost savings.
