Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center. The role is onsite and reports to the Largo Test Engineering Manager, overseeing RF/Analog/Digital integration, STE transitions, and test requirements across multiple programs.

Qualified candidates have an Electrical Engineering degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with active SECRET clearance and lab/manufacturing EE

Qualifications

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience and able to work with and troubleshoot complex Sat Com Subsystems.
  • Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Largo Test Engineering Manager.
  • Integrate and test RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
  • Transition and integrate Special Test Equipment (STE).
  • Work with hardware/software test requirements and specifications to determine needs.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, QA and Reliability teams.
  • Oversee test equipment used for production.

Collins Aerospace is currently in search of an Electrical Engineer II to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC).

What You Will Do
  • This role will report to the Largo Test Engineering Manager.
  • Integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
  • Transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE).
  • Working as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity & efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
  • Oversight of test equipment used for production purposes.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience and able to work with and troubleshoot complex Sat Com Subsystems.
  • Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • The ability to work with production equipment at a hands‑on capacity.
  • Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • Team‑oriented individual able to perform multidiscipline activities.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
